I don't know if you watch any K-dramas, but there are at least 4 or 5 history-based dramas that were made with Yi Bang-won as one of the main characters. The most recent one, I think, was appropriately called 태종 이방원. There was also a TV drama called "Jeong Do-jeon" which you might find interesting.
Thank you!! I don't know how readers would feel about it, but it's always interesting (for me, at least) to write about radical turn of events and mysteries that happened in the past.
Lovely storytelling and the family trees are super helpful! :) It's ridiculous how much killing of family there is in the Joseon dynasty...
Thanks!! The family killing isn't really out of the norm when you look at history around the world.
I don't. But I found this. https://books.google.com/books/about/Taejong_of_Joseon.html?id=eL1MYgEACAAJ

You're welcome, and thanks for the shoutout on the restack!!

And, as usual, I appreciate the original portraits of Jeong Mong-ju, Yi Sung-gye, and Jeong Do-jeon. (That's the visual learner in me speaking.)
Yes, it always helps to put a real face to names. It's a pity that almost all of the Joseon King portraits are lost.
