천만의 말씀입니다. And only if the photos could tell even just the 1/1000th of the ambience and the beauty and the tranquility of the temples... I've only been to two in my life, and I have very fond memories of them. In fact, I'm putting together a list of temples I want to visit when I have some time.
감사 for the short Korean phrase. 나는 studying Korean on my own and can very slowly sound out short sentences and phrases. Google translate most often seems to understand what I say and helps me with what I don't yet know. I do not yet understand most of what I can read/say aloud. I am just beginning to learn about conjugating verbs in 한국인 and today wrote 100 infinitives in my notebook. "Talk to Me in Korean" is beginning to teach me some basic grammar.
btw, the facts about the wooden tablets are fascinating. I enjoy reading your posts.
It always warms my heart when I hear about people such as yourself studying Korean not because they have to but because they want to. It's not an easy language to learn for a western person, but it's absolutely do-able. And thank you for your kind comments!
This is a fantastic memory and your wonderful photos bring it to life. 감사합니다
