Have you seen "The Devil Judge" written by Moon Yoo Seok 문유석? (It first aired in 2021.) I am almost finished watching the fictional series (with a ton of treachery, hypocrisy, bribery and fraud portrayed in Korean politics and presidential maneuvering). Moon was once a lawyer but is now a screenwriter (and I think a creative one at that). Anyway, your essay is perfect timing for me to consider what happens in reality in Korean politics. [Moon's screenplay almost feels like a script for the current USA administration].
I haven't even actually heard of it. I had to look it up. It does say that the drama lacked promotional support from the company that aired it. There's a Korean movie called "Kingmaker" that is based on the real events that I described in the post. The two main actors are supposed to be Kim Dae-jung and Eom Chang-rok.

P.S. "K-Divide" and election ads provided the right amount of levity.
